Swashbuckling adventure series about Jasper le Feuvre and his thirst for revenge. Twelve years ago, a rich young man named Jasper le Feuvre was kidnapped and thrown in the hold of a pirate ship. On its way to France, the ship attacked a Dutch ship and shot it to pieces. In the ensuing fight Jasper landed in a lifeboat with the Dutch captain, three lowly sailors and a little girl who had lost her mother in the attack. The lifeboat drifted at sea for 19 days, and Jasper did all he can to save the mortally ill girl.

Animated version of the famous Afrikaans story about the heroic Racheltjie de Beer, who sacrificed her own life to save her little brother from the cold. Though the story has been told as a true story for many years, many doubt that Rachel de Beer really existed. Nevertheless, she remains an icon in Afrikaans literature. This adaptation was the first full-length animated TV film in South Africa.

Drama series about a young couple whose love is tested by fraud and family feuds. At first, Judy Verster thinks Dirk Creyno is arrogant and rude, but she starts falling for him after all. But Judy’s father is arrested for fraud, and Dirk's father is the judge presiding over the case. The love lives of these students are further complicated by Grietjie, who is crazy about Dirk, and Roberts, in love with Judy.

Drama series set during the Great Depression. A struggling farmer moves to the "plains on this side of Hebron" with his daughter, Santie. The drama unfolds as the locals' relationships with each other and especially with the strange Gaitsigubib break down.

TV drama, 1976

Suspense drama written especially for television by Cor Dirks, famous Afrikaans author of youth novel series such as Die Uile and Die Otters. It was the first TV drama shown on South African television, on opening night (5 January 1976).

TV series, 1983

Manie van Rensburg's TV adaptation of the novel by J. van Melle, about a beautiful but poor young woman who marries the rich landowner instead of the man she loves. The story follows Pop le Roux's decision to marry the much older Jan Greyling and the consequences for her young love Hermaans Cronjé, her parents and for Jan Greyling's son Gert.

TV series, 1982-1986

Prison drama described as a series of "dramatised documentaries" based on real events in South African prisons over 75 years. The series follows the lives of the inmates and wardens of Pretoria Central Prison and in particular the hero, Skollie and his constant escape attempts. After two series, the story was concluded in a film called Vyfster, Die Slot, which follows Skollie's battle to find his son despite the scheming of his enemies inside and outside prison.

These included Mr. Flippit, a barrel-like toy with spinning hair and flashing red nose; Mr. Steamit the locomotive; Mr. Paintit the painter, Mr. Postit the postman; Mr. Cookit with his wonderful cakes; and the clever Mr. Fixit, who has a solution for every problem.

Comedy series about the little irritations and problems that continue to threaten Herman Scheepers’ happiness and sanity. Among these little foxes in his vineyard are his boss G.G. Goosen; Felicity, the secretary who can’t type; Barney Venter, the mysterious voice on the phone who threatens suicide whenever Herman won’t help him; Baskaline, the domestic worker who'll only lend Herman money if he promises – in writing – to pay her back; as well as the traffic department, tooth mouse, building inspectors and pesky house guests.

Children's series about music and musical instruments. The series was broadcast in two parts: In part 1, children learnt how to make instruments with everyday objects such as clothing pegs, cans and fishing line. Viewers could send in their creations to win prizes. Part 2 was broadcast a year later, in 1983, and featured about 600 instruments sent in for the competition. Children also learnt about traditional music and dances, famous composers and talented young musicians.

Comedy series about a very English lady who shakes things up in the very Afrikaans town of Brakkiesfontein. After the death of her father, miss Candida Wilbur-Browning decides to leave England and to settle in a small town in the Transvaal, where her brother runs the police station. She is shocked to discover that her new hometown is an out-of-the-way ghost town with no more than a handful of inhabitants. But it doesn’t take this English lady to start organising everybody to clean up and fix the town, especially after her brother lands in hospital and she stands in as police commissioner.

Clay animation series following the adventures of the little clay man Dr. Kleiman, who uses his vivid animation to let everyday objects come to life to build machines, houses and cars, sew a suit, write letters and bake cakes. The second series was called Die Wonderwêreld van Dr. Kleiman, and showed the misadventures of Dr. Kleiman's two assistants, Dirk and Ted, who often needed to be rescued from their own messes.

Stories from a small town in rural South Africa, as told by town gossip Mietie, who runs the local co-op. Mietie spends a lot of time on the stoep with her two friends, the wise Veldsman and the neurotic and conservative Genis. As they watch the townsfolk go by, they recount their sometimes tragic, often hilarious tales. Other recurring characters are the local pastor and Veldsman's beautiful young wife, Lettie.

Puppet series about a friendly cow, Mina Moo, who owns a popular dairy in Klokkiesvlei. Her assistant and deliveryman, Karring Straatkat, may look like an average cat, but he has a useful trick: after just one sip of milk, he turns into superhero Karring Ramkat. With Karring at her side, Mina is able to deliver milk to the locals, especially Kappertjie Crèche, Laerskool Gousblom and Aandblom retirement home – all this despite the best efforts of Bak and Terie, two dirty and sly germs who would do anything for control over Mina Moo’s dairy.

Comedy series about the Van Tonder family from Orkney, a small mining town near Klerksdorp. The Van Tonders are dad Hendrik, a shift manager at the local mine; his wife Maggie; Hendrik's father; two teenagers Hess and Wimpie; married son Ouboet, whose two greatest loves are car engines and his ditsy wife Yolanda; and son Bennie, who is a soldier on the border before joining an expedition to Marion Island. In later years, when Oupa wasn't living with them anymore, the family got frequent (though usually unexpectant and disruptive) visits from Maggie's mother, Ouma Gous.

Youth series about a young boy’s secret crime fighting adventures. Borrie Veldt seems like any other 12-year-old boy. He watches the A-Team, reads comic books and fights with his older sister, Rienie. At night, however, Borrie takes his BMX, slingshot and sister’s black ballet stockings and, disguised as Die Swart Kat (Black Cat), he solves the crimes that baffle his detective father. He always leaves his calling card on the scene in the hope that Die Swart Kat will get recognition for his daring and brilliance.

Children's series following the adventures of the Interster crew in their quest to protect Earth from the Krokons. Although the war between Earth and Krokon is officially over, Krokon crown prince Karnati has not given up his dream of destroying Earth and conquering the universe. It is up to Interster, a secret organisation masquerading as an interplanetary transportation company, to keep the prince at bay. It's not an easy task, especially when Karnati is helped by the rich and corrupt Dr.

While they’re chasing jewellery thieves, drug smugglers, robbers and runaways, their biggest headaches are the elusive criminals “Spiderman” and Arkadi (who steals people's wallets after hitting them over the head with his nunchucks).

Children’s series about oom Jasper and Heini’s adventures on the moon. Uncle Jasper uses the giant mealie growing in his garden to build a spaceship. The craft is launched accidentally and soon uncle Jasper and his assistant, Heini, land on the moon where they meet the beautiful queen of the light side of the moon, Koningin Ligkant, as well Mientjie and Manie, her two helpers. Of course, the moon also has a dark side, and this is where mean Koning Donkerkant and his two henchmen Pik and Swart cook up their evil schemes.

Action-filled youth series, about a game ranger in a private reserve in the Lowveld. His name is Viervoet-Loek Bester, a former mercenary in Rhodesia. His assistant is Modzumi Albasini, who was forced to take the position after being caught poaching. Viervoet-Loek’s son is Kleinloek, who until now has been going to boarding school in the city and barely knows how to hold a gun, soon becomes firm friends with Modzumi’s tomboy daughter, Toeks.

Drama about the feud between the families of two neighbouring farms. The Fouchés – Stan, Jos and Stan’s son Stanley - live on El Rancho, where they breed racehorses. Their neighbour is the rich Hendrik Broodryk, who owns the local store as well as most of the businesses in town, and his two sons, Hennie and Frans. Hennie can do no wrong in his father’s eyes and despite the fact that he steals his brother’s girlfriend Rina and gets involved in horse theft, it is Frans who’s the black sheep in the family. The series was based on the 1970s radio drama and novel by Cor Nortjé.

Maqiti Mmutla the rabbit owns a film production company. Together with his two friends, Malekelle Mosha the scatterbrained meerkat and Moletsi Nakedi the musical skunk, he makes educational films for children. Series about a small circus and its hapless performers. Goudini's Wonder Circus is forced to wander around the countryside after a big storm destroyed their tent. Nobody will allow them to settle on their land - not only is there a recession, but this small band of permormers are seen as a bunch of "gypsy outcasts". The small circus has no chance of competing with the big circusses and it seems their days are finally numbered - until a mysterious farmer offers them a place to camp on his farm. They set about resurrecting the circus and it's not long before they steal hearts.

Mini-series based on William Fairchild’s stage play and specially adapted for television. The story is set in the country house of Charles Norbury, a successful children’s author. When the sadistic and abusive Charles refuses to give his wife Anne a divorce, it drives her and her lover, Peter Marriott, to come up with a more drastic – and gruesome – plan.
